Once the water starts boiling, simmer the flame and continue boiling till all the water is absorbed by the rice. Let the rice cool and serve your dog a small portion 3 times a day till diarrhea is stopped. If diarrhea persists after two days, consult the vet. You can also add boiled chicken after squeezing excess water from the chicken and boiled ground beef.
The most important factor to remember when your dog is suffering from diarrhea is to make sure that he does get dehydrated due to loss of water and electrolytes. Make him drink enough water.
